Setup Juniper SNMP Read Only

The following is how to setup SNMP Read Only access for Juniper routers and switches. This configuration also limits access to 192.168.60.250/32 as the Source IP address and public as the community string. Enter the following into the CLI using the console or SSH.

1. Set the SNMP Community and Read Only access
   • set snmp community public authorization read-only
2. Lock down SNMP access to 192.168.60.250/32
   • set snmp community public clients 192.168.60.250/32
