The following is a quick guide on how to restart an Ubuntu/Debian based system. Note that this will KILL all tasks running and restart the system instantly. Remove the now text to use the default timer for restart.

  • Restart the system by pasting the following into the terminal or your SSH session.
    • sudo reboot now
