The following is a guide on how to enable the MikroTik Cloud DDNS service. This is useful if your home IP address changes from time to time and you host services from your router. This DNS name can be used as a pointer for a CNAME for remote access to your network.

  1. Enter the following into terminal to enable the DDNS service.
    • /ip cloud
    • set ddns-enabled=yes ddns-update-interval=1h
  2. Enter the following into terminal to find your DNS name that can be used for a CNAME record.
    • /ip cloud
    • print
