The following is the list of commands required to enable DNS resolution. Please note that you MUST use input rules to protect the MikroTik from DNS attacks from the internet. This config uses Google Public DNS.

  1. Paste the following configuration into the terminal.
    • /ip dns
    • set allow-remote-requests=yes servers=8.8.8.8
